Where did you first encounter the Oblates of St. Francis de Sales?
As a student at Salesianum School.
What experience of the Oblates led you to join the community?
I was drawn to the Oblate spirit, the sense of kindness, working together, joy and their care and approachability for their students.
In your experience, what makes the Oblates of St. Francis de Sales distinct?
Our practical approach to spirituality.
In ten words or less, how would you sum up Salesian spirituality?
We are called to authentic ways of holiness lived out in every day ways with joy and hope.
Why should someone consider becoming an Oblate of St. Francis de Sales today?
The world needs generous men to spread a message of optimism.
Who is your favorite historical figure? Why do you admire him/her?
My favorites are several but one is Saint Paul. He had a strong sense of determination and drive. He did what the Lord asked him to do without allowing himself to become the center of attention.
What are some of your interests/hobbies? I most enjoy spending time with friends and family, going to the movies ,and taking rail adventures by train with my friend, Father Michael Murray.
