Where did you first encounter the Oblates of St. Francis de Sales?
De Sales Hall, Washington, DC, where I lived with the community as a boarder.

What experience of the Oblates led you to join the community?
Sharing in the community life at De Sales Hall made me feel so welcome and connected that I was at home.

In your experience, what makes the Oblates of St. Francis de Sales distinct?
Our practical spirituality and approachability are unique to us.

In ten words or less, how would you sum up Salesian spirituality?
Live Jesus by loving God and neighbor to live God’s Will.

Why should someone consider becoming an Oblate of St. Francis de Sales today?
We have a strong community, are very accepting of people as they are and minister in ways that touch people concretely and compassionately. 

Who is your favorite historical figure? Why do you admire him/her?
Sr. Thea Bowman, FSPA, because she was true to herself and challenges us to be more inclusive and speak out prophetically.

What are some of your interests/hobbies?
Classical Music, Jazz, Movies, Cooking and Dining.
