Where did you first encounter the Oblates of St. Francis de Sales? 

Northeast Catholic High School.

What experience of the Oblates led you to join the community?

The relationship with the Oblate Scholastics at Northeast Catholic High School, especially when I was a student.

In your experience, what makes the Oblates of St. Francis de Sales distinct?

I notice the difference from the diocesan clergy Then and Now.

In ten words or less, how would you sum up Salesian spirituality?

It doesn’t go backwards — always new horizons.

Who is your favorite historical figure? Why do you admire him/her?

Thomas Merton, Ghandi, Mother Teresa, John XXIII - they speak for themselves.

What are some of your interests/hobbies?

I like to make things…ships, model trains.
